Democracy Creative is a Vermont-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to change politics in America and beyond. We believe this is the most important goal we can set: because a better democracy is a prerequisite to tackling every challenge ahead — from climate change and public health, to AI and inequality.

We're focused on citizens' assemblies — which are like upgraded juries for political decisions. They empower people from all walks of life to find paths through hard public problems, bypassing gridlock and division. 

To help citizens’ assemblies become a normal part of how we govern, we're building Assemble — a tool to make them easier to understand, imagine, and implement.
